What personally identifiable information do you collect?

In order for you to request an affiliate account with HiddenToolbox.com you must complete all of the ‘required’ fields on the appropriate join form, all data entered must be accurate and true. This information, including any information supplied which was not required, will allow us to personalize your experience; offer appropriate tracking services and process payments. For affiliates this data includes but is not limited to your full name and address, payment details, and where applicable, social security number or tax ID number. To help protect against fraud, your IP number along with date and times will be stored when you register with us. As an end user who installs the software we will store unique information about the computer on which you install the software, we will also store your IP number, plus time and date you installed the software. When you purchase the software, as part of our fraud prevention, your name and address will be stored in our system, along with your email address. As part of our licensing system a unique identifier from your computer will also be stored on our server.

How do you track my affiliate revenue?

All affiliate accounts are tracked by a unique ID number which is assigned to you to ensure appropriate tracking of activity/revenue. Whenever an end user visits our web site the affiliate ID, if present will be recorded in a cookie, along with sub ID's if present. Upon install cookie data will be written into our database. The name of the file downloaded by end users will also include a unique ID value and an option subID value.

Server Log Files

Our servers may at some time collect information sent from your browser/ISP or the end users browser/ISP, such as IP number, the version of browser, and any other standard information which is sent along with browser requests. This information will be used to help us in the continued development of our web site to allow us to avoid incompatibilities within our code with various browsers.
